A little bit of history...

I don't know much about the history of this area near the cottage in Ninebanks, but here are a few old photos of how the building used to look like. There is a school, church and hall in the close vicinity of the cottage. The cottage is called Allen View.

Aahhh to be in the country...

My aunt and her husband recently (well actually not so recently!) took on a project to renovate a cottage they had purchased in the Allendale area in the north of England. The village is called Nine Banks. Here are a few photos of the area close to the cottage.
